Thanks again for all the replies. It sounds like building up and crowing is the right course of action. To 2manyrocks, what you described is my problem, I have been out there in the heavy rain and just as you describe the tire track area on the right becomes a stream.
In the last picture the fiber is on the right. There is a decent ditch at that point but the water from uphill is moving down the driveway bypassing the ditch. That picture is where the worst of the erosion happens.
Interesting, it was professionally laid and compacted and was plenty thick to start. That being said I've box bladed it 100 times since then. It did erode first before my first box blading.
I wonder if it makes sense to put down some gravel fines to help lock the loose gravel at this point.
Sorry for having pic in on post and text in the next, I've never posted pics before. In the first pic to the far left of the dog (left side of gravel) is where the worst of the washout begins. water flows down the driveway from there creating ruts. The second and third pics show where I have...
Folks, thanks for all the replies and I apologize for not being more engaged on the thread I started. To fill in a bit more detail my driveway is a quarter Mile long with about 200' being on a steep incline with a curve. I do feel it could benefit from cutting my ditches a bit deeper/more...
Folks, I'm getting a bit tired of the continuous regrading of my gravel road. I'm wondering if anyone has experience using a product like this: How to Stabilize a Steep Gravel Driveway - TRUEGRID Pavers is this legit or snake oil?
I'll post this in case it helps anyone else. The NGK part number was 97627 Y1021J. This part is discontinued. NGK won't tell me what the replacement part number is it's proprietary to JD. The JD part number is M87919. JD charges $42.46 for one. I found the NGK plugs on EBAY for $20...
Can anyone tell me the NGK replacement for the glow plugs in the title? The engine is the Yanmar 3cyl Diesel. Model 3TNV70-XJUV, serial number XCH3009D204003X. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for all the replies. Here's a bit more on the tractor...it's a Hydrostatic Transmission, 4wd, has a Front loader and rear hydraulics run.
I would consider doing it myself but I'm starting a new day job and I don't know if I can devote the time it would take me. I'll call around and...
Folks, I have been a long time lurker on this forum but rarely post. I searched this question but didn't quite find exactly what I'm looking for. Here is my question: I have a 2000ish Kubota L4310 that is leaking hydo fluid from the condensation weep hole. It's not too bad, I just add a...
My tractor is an older L4310 the tie rod is bent on both sides of the adjusting rod/nut/thing. I found a replacement at Worthington and Reliable for $285. I'll probably go that route. Thanks for listening to me whine.
Update...I got the top of the line Andis clipper and a #4ft ceramic blade. That combined with the "chill pill" regiment from the vet got it done. My boy is clean, matt free and happy now. Thanks again for the advice.
