    Troy Bilt Horse tiller

I picked up this tiller last week and am having an issue with reverse. If it just sits-- with engine running-- it will go into reverse automatically. I adjusted the reverse nuts/bolts so that won't happen, but it takes a lot of force to get it into reverse now, so much I'm afraid I will bend...

    4120 coolant leak

I can't find the source. If the tractor sits, it does not leak; if it sits with power to the glow plug, I might have 4 or 5 tablespoons of fluid on the shop floor. When the engine is running it doesn't seem to be leaking, but can't tell for sure, but given the fluid drop in the overflow...

Third time my tractor nearly killed me

I have a 2004 JD 4120 with 300 hours on it. Original owner. My ground is very steep, where you can only go up/down. I was brushhogging my field and I just started going down the crest of my hill and my transmission popped out of 'B' gear into neutral-- I was in 2wd. Even with the rear...

    Just what are these charges?

Got an estimate for a 4120 in Colfax, WA for $29,000, with all the bells and whistles. But what is this $1k destination charge and rollonrolloff charge? The estimate says they are giving me a $4,500 dscnt, off msrp I suppose? Thanks, Jeff

Can one get a dual rear wheel for a JD?

Just bought 20 acres, some of it awfully steep. Unfortunately a crawler isn't very practical. I'm probably going to buy one of the 3000 twenty series: the JD dealer is only 4 miles away. As I'm in the country, I can drive the tractor there for maintenance. Unfortunately they seem to not...
