I don't - was not planning on doing that at this time as I'm just changing the lube earlier than the 400 hours as I bought it used from the dealer- just want to put all the right stuff in. I'd take your direction though on it, regardless of not needing it today. :)

I don't see that greasing the axle pivot is applicable according to the book, just adjusting the nut.

The manual says: KUBOTA SUPER UDT-2 SAE 80-SAE 90 gear oil Why specify 2 options? From what I've read it ships with UDT. Recommendations? I'm looking at buying the AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR® 80W-90 100% Synthetic Gear Lube for it.

What is the range of this unit? Is it 8"?

Are there any cheaper options? $700 for cheap hardware is too much. As of right now, I bolted the deflector up where it normally is anyway.

I am not sure if it is oil or the slobber, I thought oil when I saw it but will examine it closer when I'm home again.
