    Will an ''85 580d extendahoe mount to a '70 580ck tractor?

YES IT WILL - with some effort ..... So, it's on. It took some doing, though. The bottom mount had to be shortened and I had to recreate the insert for the lower pins, but the width was perfect. The to mount I had to fabricate new, as it turns out I didn't have them at all ..... It was tough...

    Will an ''85 580d extendahoe mount to a '70 580ck tractor?

Unfortunately, I haven't taken full ownership of the 580ck, yet, or I would post pictures. I was supposed to go get it tomorrow morning, but then my wife decided to go ahead and start labor about a week and a half early. So, it's going to have to wait a few days. The 580ck is bare bones behind...

    Will an ''85 580d extendahoe mount to a '70 580ck tractor?

I just bought a wonderfully restored 1970 Case 580ck without a hoe. I have arranged to procure an extendahoe of of a 1985 580d. My question: anybody know for sure that it'll mount right up? I'm knew to the 580 world. More info: I can weld, and - like every good Frenchman - I can tinker. But...

    Case 480 530 580 posts interchangeability

Hey everybody. I was hoping somebody with the know can tell me how interchangeable parts are between the different models of TLB'S that Case was making back in the late 60's to early seventies. I'm looking at a few 480's, neither of which are complete. I don't mind a project, but I'm really...

    b21 won't start

Behind schedule - moving quick - more later. The baby won't turn over. Turn the click, hear a click, glow plug light goes on, no vroom vroom. Battery reading 12.57 and tried jumping it just in case. It's got to be a neutral safety switch or something, right? Need this thing ASAP. Input...

    I went shopping yesterday ....

A bought a B21 w/ 584 hours on it. But I needed something to move it with, so I bought a 7' x 12' Suretrack dump trailer. A special thanks to Carl in New Hampshire for all of his help, and to all the folks contributing to this wealth of experiential wisdom we affectionately call TBN...

    Pickup Philosophy Question

All this talk of pick up trucks has made me reminiscent of my old fave - big green. Alas, we parted ways when I threw a rod on the highway like 10 days before moving 6 states away ... The wife was not happy about that one, my cell phone battery died as I was pulling off to the side and I didn't...

looking at an owatonna onan 2 cyl engine skid steer

I am looking at an owatonna (mustang?) onan 2 cyl engine 48" wide skid steer that seems to run well, but I don't know anything about this brand and neither does the seller. Can anyone with a working knowledge of these things lend me your brain? fill me in? point me away if I'm looking at a...

    Stamped Concrete vs Interlocking Pavers

Ditto on the base prep being your #1 concern. A driveway is going to require at least a foot of good DOT road base, some call it crusher-run, packed hard, hard. It's the base layer that spreads the weight out. I never really like pavers, so maybe I'm biased. I guess they just seem a bit...

Backhoe  frame mount or dedicated tlb

What do you fellas think? I want to be able to move around with the hoe as necessary (I.e. scooting down the line, getting unstuck in a rough patch, etc) and I'm wondering what experience says. I can foresee at least the possibility of using a 3ph - if it's there at some point I'd use it. But...

    tractor shopping - ih case

So, I'm looking at a couple of tractors - doing a little bit of research - and I thought it was high time I asked a professional .... I've got a few jobs coming that'll require a loader and backhoe. I've been looking around locally and I've found an IH 340 utility which has been sitting...
