Here we go again, another heavy wet mess is headed to New England. 8-14” in the valleys, 1-2’ in the mountains. Good thing I left the chains and the blower on.
I was out doing yard work today, I will be blowing snow by Thursday. Got to love our New England weather!
I agree with that for sure! I have a walk behind for close to the garage. My conventional inverted blower leaves more when you lift it up at the end. I notice the Hybrids do a way better job.
I think you’re definitely right about not worth the extra cost! I just can’t believe these have not...
A friend of mine hast a Pronovost 92” inverted blower, my Normand and his are almost identical. His was beat up and he totally rebuilt it as well as blasted and painted it JD colors. My blower is a 2018 model, given there’s 10 or more differences they are basically the same.
I know Normand...
If my tractor starts to struggle( hop or bounce some) I will pick up the blower which adds 1800# to the rear, drive up through the snow and blow back down hill. I would do this only to not break anything in the driveline. Most times I go down doing a full 92” and on the way back up the hill I’m...
I believe the fan is 28” and I can not off the top of my head say how deep. It seams to throw the snow far weather wet or powder. I know one time when it was pretty wet, it came out in like sheets of snow if that makes any sense?
My John Deere 5105m has regular PTO 540 at 2100 rpm’s and Economy PTO 540 at 1750 rpm’s. I always run it in economy and the computer will only let the rpm’s go slightly over to like 1850-1900. When it’s under load the computer lets me give it more juice to keep it at 540 or slightly more.
When...
I had my blower raised up to not dig into the gravel. It did not leave any tractor tracks left behind. My tractor weights in at 12,800 with fuel and me. People always worry the blower will not remove the tracks, it’s total BS. You can lean back or come forward with the top link to get mor or...
Ours driveway is over a half mile and more than 100’ in elevation change. It will not be a problem at all. My tractor has 15.5x38 rears, loaded and weighted. Fronts are 13.6x24 with a 105 horsepower to boot.
