It reads empty all the time. Now I can’t get it to crank up because I believe I ran out of fuel. Any ideas of what needs to happen now?

I have a Mahindra 4025. Unsure of the year model because it was given to me when I bought the property. But the fuel gauge does not work but the rest of the gauge cluster will work. Possibly the gas tank level?
