    L3800 - 6" wheel spacers

OP here. Coming up on 3 years and zero issues with the 6" spacers. Just a data point.

    Drink and tool holders

Kopliin ATV rack + 4 U-bolts + 10 minutes time = great little tool/cooler/chainsaw hauler with minimal visibility impact. The orange danglies from the ROPs bolt holes are giant rubber coated twist ties that I wrap around tool handles to secure them to the ROPs. It isn't fancy, but it works.

    L4330 not turning on

This. Remove, inspect, CLEAN anyway and reattach the ground cables - especially wherever it grounds to the frame. Had the same problem recently on my L3800. Didn't bother removing/cleaning the ground because it looked just fine... a couple hours of frustrating debugging later I finally...

My L3901 seems WAY under-powered to me

Friend - I work the heck out of mine, without apology. She's 10 years old and only ever asks for more. I've even had 6" spacers on her rear loaded R1s for the last year and she's not even blown a bearing or seal yet. :cautious: I just came in from several hours of intense grappling, often at...

My L3901 seems WAY under-powered to me

Doesn't sound right to me. I have an l3800 hst 4x4 and nothing but hills. Tractor lives 100% in 4x4 mode, and 90% of the time in mid gear. I only use low when mowing the the steepest of slopes or boxblading the driveway. Never feels sluggish in mid gear, even with a round bale hanging off...

    L3800 - 6" wheel spacers

~200 hours over the last year. I keep sheep on 45 hilly acres, and that tractor is my do all machine. I never take the loader off (alternate between bucket and grapple) and most of the time the bush hog is on - and I use it as a carry all, often with 2 or three square bales and several water...

    L3800 - 6" wheel spacers

One year+ update - zero issues related to the spacers. Really has made a huge difference on the hills.

    L3800 - 6" wheel spacers

How long will the axle last! :dance1: Adeptec steel spacers. Spendy but a quality part - nearly a press fit. BONUS - it's a built in wheel weight too! 8 year old L3800, spends all her time on hills.

L3800 coolant leak @ 75 hrs - check those clamps

Discovered a bit of coolant under the tractor last weekend. Apparently happened after parking it. Poked around a bit looking for the source and discovered this: Tractor is less than 100 hrs and it's the unmolested stock hose & clamp - which besides being installed askew was also under...

    interesting iphone 'gauge' app

Planning on working my hillsides and wanted more accurate numbers in regards to slope, elevation, etc. Came across an iPhone app named Theodolite that is pretty spiffy. Gives a nice real time readout of pitch/roll, elevation, direction, GPS cords, etc. I used a cheap suction cup phone holder...
