I will use a tractor primarily for mowing pasture and loader work, but would like the capability to haul a round bale (1200+ lbs) occaisionally. The lift capacity of the 4500 with a 460 loader appears to be more than adequate, but I'd like the hydrostat transmission. Comments or suggestions?

I own 80 acres of hay/pasture which I rent to a family member but help manage. I would like to cut hay, rake hay, possibly haul a round bale, mow pasture, and use a loader for endless purposes - pull out old fence, haul manure, push brush piles together, etc. What size tractor do I need?

I was quoted $18,900 for L3410HST with LA482 loader. No other accessories. Is this a fair price?

I'm a first time tractor buyer comparing GST to HST. What are the advantages/disadvantages of each transmission? Does HST provide enough control? Is hp loss a problem? Is GST reliable?
