    X750 random stall, restarts ok

I used a piece of small gauge solid copper wire probably 20 or 22ga from an old fluorescent light fixture. I pushed it through the holes in the terminals of the switch. When the blades push on they fold the copper over and sandwich it tight. Also dielectric grease.

    X750 random stall, restarts ok

That is a great suggestion, but with the immediate restart a guy has to wonder if the power loss will actually show? It seems to be self resetting and almost immediate, like a poor connection. It has only ever shut down when running mid to full throttle a couple of times. I've not heard what I...

    X750 random stall, restarts ok

If it was during operation I might suspect these as potential issues. I do have the seat switch jumped as well as the RIO since day 1, but I don't see how they would affect engine operation with the parking brake on. PTO will not come on with brake on either.

    X750 random stall, restarts ok

This is a 2013 or so model. Been running great as all Yanmar engines do, but began stalling at cold start. It will crank, and typically fire quickly as normal, idle a few seconds then shut off just like I switched the key off. No labor or sputter, just dies. Crank it again and fires right...

Deere 3 and 4 series cab models

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to try to get out and demo some more. The 3046 did not have a loader so I assume the joystick works harder du to fluid pressures? My big problem is I don't do the frequent trade thing and with my luck they will revamp the controls shortly after I commit.

Deere 3 and 4 series cab models

I really enjoy my 3720 after 16-17 years of ownership now, but I really do think I want a cab. My biggest hang up is the stubby loader joystick and the amount of effort required and lack of feel. I sat in a new 3046R at dealer but there was not a loader attached. I'm not sure if that makes a...

    X758 Deck leveling problems solved

New rockshaft requires new end links and bolts also. Old one has one bolt that is LH thread and one that is RH. New one has both RH. The squares are much longer on the new shaft so teh new end links are also wider so much greater surface area. Looks like the new links eliminated the half...

    X758 Deck leveling problems solved

For a good lube that does not gunk things up I would suggest TriFlow. I have my rockshaft here and will try to document what I can with pictures.

Titan HD 2000 II SS or Carlisle Trac Chief R4 tires, Thoughts?

I bought a pair of Titan HD2000 in 27-8.5-15 in fall of 2020. In spring of 2020 they were already checking and cracking. I spent about a year dicking around with my local tire shop who I know and trust and have dealt with for 20 plus years only to get shot down. I just started direct with...

    X758 Deck leveling problems solved

I had it wrong in my mind. My machine has 3" cut height indicated at 12 oclock. I saw somewhere on a post that there were different decals so I started to look. https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sidebyside/equipment/74629/referrer/navigation/pgId/618725895 If you zoom in on #22 which...

    X758 Deck leveling problems solved

If things go as planned I will set the rockshaft on a flat surface and take pictures to document. I plan to go through things pretty thoroughly as I don't have to rush. I use the Ztrak for most of the mowing so the x750 can sit idle without a rush.

    X758 Deck leveling problems solved

Spacers under the head of the adjusting screws? I did the same. I think I am going to try the rocker shaft replacement and see what it does. I'm also going to replace my tunnel decal as mine has 2.5" cut at the 12 oclock position. Seems they updated this and 3" is now at the 12 oclock...

    X758 Deck leveling problems solved

Sorry for dredging up an old post, but I think it better than starting new. I have the same uneven arms on my x750. We actually have 2 of these machines in the family. I haven't checked the second unit, but i assume they are same. Reading this thread it sure sounds like the shaft was...
