I just found another shifter boot at Tractor Supply Co. that fits the 1610 and get this it's only $4.35! The number is 0237479 it's for Ford 1939-1964. You will have to streach it a bit at the bottom putting it on but I didn't have a problem, and it's a nice tight fit. Good Luck.
