Found a 59" snow blower 2 years old, was said to be mounted on a JD3120. Pic's sent to me look nothing like the A frame newer style mounts. Owner says it was dealer installed no retrofitting. I sold my JD955 with snow blower and this one looks to be the same mount type. Question would be does...
Has any one had issues with motor mounts on the 55 series or 955 in paticular, I broke the front mounts one was broken then broke the other this weekend:mad:
I did this project this past fall with the help from my JD955. The project showed the limitations of the #7 hoe which I've had for about 1 year or so, also used the newly build forks with SSQA which I built from Ideas from this site and help from the members, Thank You!!.

I took apart my old #7 backhoe for some TLC. I was going to replace the brass bushings in the main frame measured 1.250 outside 1.000 inside seemed simple enough. orderd thru Mcmaster Carr, problem when I installed them they are to tight. I should have orderd thru JD so much trying to save some...
Purchased a older JD #7 backhoe the bucket has 2 missing teeth, I orderd 2 from the dealer but the new ones look nothing like the ones on the bucket. Has any seen teeth like these, and maybe a source to find them. The new ones will almost fit over existing teeth. Trying to avoid cutting all...
Just mounted a #7 backhoe I recently purchased, curious if someone has had the older style, wondering how much better newer hoes are, hydraulic power wise, I was going to add a thumb, but side power seems low. Any comparisons would be great.
Interested in a backhoe for my 955 found a #7 backhoe off a 850 tractor, it has the subframe and additional hardware could this work on the 955 with a little work.
