I watched that video recently. They tested 10 Icon ratchets and 2 had substantially lower breakage numbers than the rest. Interesting but not really surprising. Some are just inferior from manufacturing.
Routine testing on my sugar levels have always been perfect. I just thought I'd put this out there as I was kinda amazed that such a small eating change could reduce pain. Very limited cookies and pastries now, like 1 a week. :)
Before this, my doc put me on "low dose Naltrexone" which is now...
Just happened on this thread for no real reason but, a thought for y'all. I'm 17 years younger than you but there are things that can swell up your joints. In my case, if I have too much sugar I can't even shake someone's hand without pain, never mind grip something strongly. I realized the...
Those cheap orange handled picks certainly are nice to have around as is the 6 in 1 (I think it's called that) screwdriver.
I have 10 year old Pittsburgh impacts and those have been great, I have yet to ruin one after years of beating on them. Maybe the newer ones are not as good?
I've done a bunch of tires with mine, I've beefed up some areas that were starting to bend from use. I also added a duck bill to aid in removal of the tire, there's tons of YT vids on mods for these. I put threaded anchors in cement to mount but actually have it bolted to a thick 3x10 right...
I'd like to pick up a power rivet gun, using my manual gun for a stainless rivet is brutal on my hands. Just not pain free like it used to be. I can't justify the price yet for how often I rivet things though. Maybe if it pops up on sale. I do have one sucks rant, for the amount of emails...
Having young grandkids now, I really enjoy the time with them but wow do they take you energy. My wife and many ladies I know, are naturals with babies and kids in general. Not so much for the guys it seems, we need learning. Women's intuition seems to be real. With that said, at one point...
I got one of the last Bauer units for like $60 when they went on clearance a couple months ago. Seems they only have the Hercules now and it does not come with 3 drums which is a bummer.
The link I list above lists in most of the items that they are "Compatible with DeWalt & Hercules 20V Batteries" for use in Bauer tools. This makes me think a Dewalt battery should fit directly into a Hercules tool without an adapter and vice-versa. That would be a nice thing to know. There's...
Amazon has adapters for these. Interesting that it says fits Hercules and Dewalt. That makes me wonder about buying some Hercules bare tools to use Dewalt batteries we have. Can anyone confirm a Dewalt battery works in a Hercules tool...
I mentioned after your original post that these were still full price in my area but I left a browser up for it on my PC. Low and behold, today I see the clearance price of $60 with limited supply at my local store. I called them and they were nice enough to put the last one aside for me which...
