i opened the inspection plate on top and can see the linkage trying to open the clutch plates, but they appear to be stuck or rusted together in the closed position. Any ideas on how to free up without a complete disassembly?

My 24 volt generator only puts out 5 volts at high RPM without a load and only 1.5 volts at idle. I had it to the shop twice. It tested out Ok when they returned it but the "repair" lasted less than a day. Any ideas?

The water pump is on the left side so this must be the Buda engine. You can see it on the lower left of the first picture. The diagram on dozer identifies the grease fitting on top as the fan belt tensioner. The long screw ends up right on the fan belt pulley, but when I loosen it it doesn't...

I've got an old HD 6 Allis Chalmers dozer, 1972 with a bad wheel bearing. I can't afford to pay someone else to fix it and I'm wondering how much of a job it is. Also once I take it apart do I need AC parts or will I be able to buy the bearings anywhere?
