My HP water heater uses very little electricity and is in my basement but it does make a humming noise and would be annoying if it was nearer to our living space.

We also have geothermal heat and no gas. I was told that geothermal heating cost is comparable to natural gas. Natural gas is not available here. We also use an induction cooktop that heats as fast as gas. Also have a heat pump water heater. No gas here unless I drink too much milk or eat beans.

Raising the mower deck an inch would help. Mowing a little higher beats tearing up your mower. The blades will last longer too.

Maybe they have electric cars.

We had a milk house that had a cement tank. The tank was filled with cold water. Ten gallon milk cans full of milk were placed in the cold water for cooling.

So you don't even clean it when you sharpen the blades? I may have OCD that makes it difficult to leave all of that sh@#$t there when removing the blades. It's not that hard to do.

In open range areas they build fences along the highway to keep stock off the road. That fence looks tall enough to keep wildlife off the road. My brother lives near 160 between Pagosa Springs and Durango.

In the spring, the horses shed more but a GSD sheds all year long.

Wow, we always brush our GSD outside. He spends more time outside anyway. He'd rather be out with the horses.

It seems like a poor use of electricity. The datacenters use so much electricity that will cause electricity prices to increase, just so people don't have to use their brain.
