    transmission/hydraulic filter gc2310 circa 2006

You mean a manufacturer only meets a couple of specs and calls it a "replacement". ray...say it isn't so! I bought my 2300 when it first came out and from what I can ascertain, it had an ...M1 filter, which according to Snobdds is a 23mm filter. The ...M2 filter superseded at some point...

    transmission/hydraulic filter gc2310 circa 2006

Ray after your post, I did some searching to compare and unfortunately not many list detailed specs. I have been using the filters in the boxes I showed after doing this GC2300 broken hydraulic oil filter flange because the threads were closer to the top of the filter and I preferred that. One...

    New Woods tiller problem.....

Yes I agree that the ujoints don't like being raised all the way up before disengaging.

    New Woods tiller problem.....

I have used my Woods tiller quite a bit over the years (our garden, daughter's garden, neighbor's garden). My process for tilling is to throttle down at start of a row, put tiller down and engage when it comes in contact with the ground and throttle up. I set the drop rate on slow so I am not...

I have used the filter from the boxes in the picture in my GC2300 over the years.

Time for GC2300 to be put out to pasture. Maybe an MF1725?

I have had a belly mower on mine in the past (GC2300) and have used the float (used a bunji cord to hold lever down). This came in handy on uneven ground and I was using the wheels more than the height scew to set the height.

    Pat's Quick Hitch on GC1725M

You may have missed the part where I mentioned that I replaced the driveshaft for a mod I am working on (articulating the rear mower). The new driveshaft fits so tightly in the yoke that I just replaced the rolled pin because I wouldn't be able to pull it out anyway. Lou

    Pat's Quick Hitch on GC1725M

I have stupidly done the opposite of that and broke the hydraulic filter off. What a blast. Posted my resolution on here. I have used white lithium grease often but it kinda sets up over time and have been using Fluid Film lately because someone recommended it for lubricating the auto...

    Pat's Quick Hitch on GC1725M

Initially I used a stainless steel bolt with a nylon lock nut and carried the required wrenches in the fender toolbox. Decided to try the spring clip for easier use. I was concerned when I came up with the idea and had kept close watch on the pin for any marks. I also checked the spring...

    Pat's Quick Hitch on GC1725M

Quick connect for pto!!! I do despise hooking up the pto most of the time. Seems I can't keep enough lube on the slide. I did slide the cover back (too bad it doesn't easy slide just by following "Press Here") and removed the rolled pin from the yoke. I then slid the driveshaft out of the ujoint...

    Pat's Quick Hitch on GC1725M

Probably should be removed for operating but I am of the age that I try to limit entering and exiting

    GC1725 Wiring Diagram

Unlike the GC2300 I bought previously, my GC1725 manual does not contain the wiring diagram. Is this part of "we don't want the users to work on our products program" or is it "we can make a few more bucks from documentation program". I am in the process of adding some electrical options and...

Can a Massey GC1710 with Category 0 hitch operate a flail mower?

Didn't realize 1710 had cat0. Thought it was a cat1 like the other GC1700 series.

I have also placed the spreader from the bottom but have still managed to bend it from time to time. Usually happens when I lift my finish mower up to change the height setting. I guess in 20 years... Well I have heard the mind is first to go.
