Seat switch? I had similar "shut down" problems while moving..... apparently, I would bounce off the seat about a 1/4 inch....triggering the seat switch. Once disconnected, never had another "shut down". Well worth trying it disconnected.....

I checked in my manual.... yep, no warranty if sold at auction. If actually purchased from an individual or dealer ---- warranty goes with tractor. I guess that because it is at "auction", they don't know if it was abused or broken, hence being "sent to auction". Too many variables.....

You have no clue about what you are saying...... as stated before, multiple times, it iS HYDRAULIC STEERING! It is NORMAL for the steering wheel to be at random positions. No mechanical linkage. Doesn't need a fix at all!
