need to add transmission oil to ford 4500 backhoe manual transmission wet brakes. what i am told is it needs m2c-134d oil i can't locate any will jd120c or j20c oil be the same? if not what would be the same as the m2c=134d oil

is there only one seal or are there two a couple sites claim that you need two on front input shaft?

haven't taken pump off yet just trying to get parts first. can you buy just the seal?i haven't found it anywhere. is it some thing special or is or is it just a regular lip seal or do i need to tear it it a part first and try and match the seal

i have a ford 4500 with a 201 diesel engine. I had the injector pump rebuilt about 10 years ago has less then 120hrs since. checked oil yesterday and over full. Front injector seal leaking into crankcase. Has anybody pulled the front drive off of pump to replace seal. Looks pretty easy my only...

if i switch to oil rated for diesels and it has been using regular oil will it break loose any sludge and harm the engine.

then should i just use 10-30w regular oil in it . tractor is in good shape for it's age dosen't use any oil.

just got a ford 4500 diesel backhoe. wanting to change oil to start i don't know what oil they were running in it. i believe it may have been regular 10-40w conventional oil. should i stick to that or should i put in something like shell rotella or mobile delvac?
