I just last weekend broke what was essentially virgin ground (hadn't been broken in decades at least) which was covered in rough grass. I used an old two bottom Ferguson plow (14 AO 28) I picked up a few weeks ago. It did great, but there were a few times I ran out of traction with my MF 1742...

My 1742 was delivered this morning. Barely had a chance to do much more than a victory lap around the barn but I really like the ergonomics of the tractor and the responsiveness of the hydraulics. Ended up going with a hydro instead of the powershuttle.

I was just quoted $22900 for MF 1736 platform model with the 66" quick attach bucket on the FEL, 12X12 Powershuttle and R4 tires. This price was after application of any applicable rebates etc. and is with 3.99% financing. I know this is still a rather new model, but how does this sound to you...
