    Hinge for folding bale tines

I have tried having the loader push down on the stack. It works until you get up to like 4. After that it always is an issue with pulling the stack down. Yeah I have seen a lot of different variants from European manufacturers. If the importing for one thing wasn't so expensive I would just...

    Backhoe Ripper

Nice work. What material did you use to tube in the bottom picture to connect the pin holders? Did you use a bushings in that tube? If so which one?

    Hinge for folding bale tines

I have found that company as well. I contacted them about a video to see how much theirs move and haven’t heard back in over a week. Honestly, it seemed like a recipe for something to wear out quickly or get stuck in a weird way. I usually do 5 3x3x8s and do put the last 2 ontop of the bottom...

    Hinge for folding bale tines

Those look like just flanged bronze bushings. Or are they something else?

    Hinge for folding bale tines

True, I found a few manufacturers that make a bale spear with a hydraulic push off bar. My concern with that is how to coordinate driving back and pushing things bales off the tines at the same time. Retracting tines or hooks are a better option. And I have found those as well but those are...

    Hinge for folding bale tines

Up to 3000 pounds, with 2 large square bales of alfalfa. When stacking over 3 high in my barn, pulling out the tines gets dicey. They tend to "stick" to the bales and want to pull the entire stack down. With the hinge you can "push off" without needing hydraulics. I designed stops into the...

    Hinge for folding bale tines

I am trying to design some bale forks with folding bale tines. I got as far as the general structure. I am somewhat stuck on the details. The square tube are sized according to other bale forks I checked out (3x4x1/4, 2x4x1/8). The plate used is 3/4" right now, which may be overkill, but...

    Foldable/Tiltable Bale Fork

I have been looking for bale forks that can tilt/fold like they do in Europe because they tend to make stacking hay easier. I have found the ones from Westendorf and the ones from Manitou but they only appear to support one bale at a time or only come with the Manitou coupler. I could add an...

    SSV75 Purchase Recommendation

The first/high flow option needs new tires (which are included in the price). The standard flow option just needs back tires.

    Lubrication Points 4707

Hi All, I have been digging through the owner’s manual for my 4707. The only reference to lubrication points I could find in the manual were two decals. Nothing else, no diagram, no reference in the table of contents or index. I am a little lost. One I found one of the said decals, but not the...

    Error Codes on MF 4707

Another update… Added Power Service Diesel Clear to the tank. Used the tractor for about 2 hours and got the “water in fuel” error a couples times but always went away and didn’t show up for last 30 minutes. I am guessing it is the diesel in the tank being old.

    Error Codes on MF 4707

I am mostly really annoyed at the fact that my old tractor had a water filter inline that you could drain and now you need to take the replace the entire fuel filter with a special wrench, but that is how it goes these days.
