    Comparison B2601 vs. LX2610

Old thread but still relevant. Regarding the comment about the mower competition by Messicks. Neil also had a video posted about this flail mower (has since been taken down) where a hidden chunk of wood was hit, wedged in and damaged the mower.

Ford 1210 put a hole in rear axle housing. Pics. Fix ideas?

Lucky it's in a no support area. Yes cast aluminum can be welded by someone experienced in aluminum welding. I did say experienced and not a welder who seldom works with aluminum. This is non structural repair. Get it super clean and epoxy repair will be fine.

    A new Texas delicacy

In a controlled blind taste test by the US Pork Association 9 out of 10 people preferred fried pork rectum vs calamari. :poop::poop::poop::ROFLMAO: Everyone that eats calamari has eaten pork rectum at some point in their lives. It's a low cost alternative that gets slipped in. Remember...

    Tilling uncut grass

If you have a blade or loader and the plot isn't huge, scrape until the stringy stems are gone. Then till. I've done this many times. I use the loader bucket edge down aggressive and back drag. Not ideal but works. I till food plots for friends and often they don't have them prepped for...

    Waiting on LX2610 Rops

You will still give up a level of durability going to R14. The tread thickness, amount of tread rubber coverage and design gives a big edge to the R4s. R14s closer to turf tires and better on the grass.

    Reclaiming Old Gravel Driveway

Use marker paint and outline driveway. Spray with roundup. Fill and smooth low areas with gravel if nessary. If temporary why spend a lot of time an effort.

Rear blade for snow on gravel, pipe or rubber mat?

Have some adjustable skid shoes fabricated like on truck snow blades. Make brackets and use skids already available. No matter what you use you'll still get some loose gravel moved.

    Chinese Gaming Limits

It's a parents responsibility not the gov's. Worked with many from India in IT. Their parents more in tune with less gaming and sports after the age of 12. Schools more in tune with market reality and what's needed. Graduates hit the road able to work and miles and miles ahead of US...

    Easiest to sell used tractor?

It's all economy related. It wasn't that long ago there were many bargain priced used Deere's and Kubota's people were trying to move. Overall in my area both brands used sell better than competitors. That's even with strong NH and MF dealerships in the area. For the past 18 months...

    E bike recommendations?

The problem is ebike dealers, bikes and components are appearing and disappearing fast. Difficult to recommend an expensive one when the technology and market is in extreme flux. Just like computers a few years back buying lower cost and replacing in a few years might be a better option. I...

Battery based electric vehicles of today and tomorrow.

Just buy a Prius and let others live on the bleading edge of technology. Tesla made the mistake of manufacturing in California and will be bankrupt in less than 15 years. The larger auto makers will buy the scraps.

    Harbor Freight Quick Hitch Discontinued?

I think SpeeCo and Land Pride have cat 1 quick hitches that use cat 1 pins. The Land Pride is a QH10. There are a few off brands also. I'm modifying the Harbor Freight hitch to fit tighter. At $12 total cost (Rural King) it's not that expensive for precision upper and lower bushings.
