I checked the fuses, they're all good. But it is electrical - I jumpered the from power to the injector solenoid and it fired right up. Could it be the key switch? I rigged up a temporary power wire for now so I could get bales out of the field, just have to unplug it to kill it.

Well that's good to know! But more of a mystery - both wires are showing as grounds w/ a test light, key off, on, and cranking. Think I found they problem though, now how to solve it? Could the whole thing be shorted somehow?

Have a 6500, I used it last week worked great. Shut it off, put fuel in it and went to start it a few days later and it cranks strong but won't fire. I thought maybe it was bad fuel I put in since that's the only thing that changed so I drained it and changed the filters and bled everything...

Hello - 6500 shuttle shift will only start by shorting the starter. If I read the manual right the only safety switch is the PTO switch - so shouldn't I be able to test it by jumping the two wires on the switch? The key itself has power to it so I'm stumped. The PTO lever hasn't worked since...

Just finished using the tractor and the gear shifter on my YM240 is loose, it spins all the way around so you kind of have to guess which gear it's in. I'm guessing there's just a nut holding the shifter onto the fork? I'm afraid to use it so nothing falls in the transmission and breaks...
