I have a leak between the rear axle housing and the transmission housing. How big of a job to change the gasket? Is it as simple as removing the wheel and unbolting the axle housing?

my 240D turned over slow so I turned key off. It continued to try to start for up to a minute even with the key out. Then I smelled wire burning. I noticed the ground cable at the battery post smoking. Any ideas?

I tried to start my 240D. It turned over slow. I turned the key to OFF and it kept trying to start for up to a minute even with the key out. I smelled wire burning and found the negative cable at the battery smoking. What would cause this?

My loader control valve needs to be replaced. Anyone have a used one? New one?

New owner questions: 1. what position should the front drive shift lever be in when driving? 2. should the hyudraulic control lever be up whnever the tractor is running? 3. the control valve on the bucket is leaking, should I rebuild it or replace it? Saw a Cross SBAF2 valve on Ebay for $51.00.

I have some hydraulic leaks. Whats the heavyest fluid I can get away with?
