    In my case, I made sure it was empty, aired it out for a week with no valve on it upside down, than filled it with water as I cut it with 4.5" hand grinder. Propane is a lot more volatile than diesel, but I don't know much about it. I googled it a whole lot before I done it. Just be careful...
