I have a cab on my 254 with rear remote and I broke out my back window so I run the lever forward and under my arm to use my top link or snow blower chute rotation, now if I had a snow cab you could probably do the same with a couple slits in the cab.

Also I have to ask if the Partsmanual is that thorough how much info is in the service or operators manual. The complete operators manual is 74 pages and the parts manual is also 74 pages supplied Nortrac.

I dropped both tracks to get as much slack as possible. How do the swing shafts detach from the under carriage frame. I pulled the 4 bolts in the cap and only saw grease inside. Manual doesn’t show a snap ring or key so I’m stumped.

Update: FD is off but it was a challenge. So I have a question. Does the undercarriage frame rail stay attached with part 27 in attached image? Is part 27 internally threaded? I was able to loosen the other side clamp for the swing shaft and get enough movement to get the FD removed but...

So after checking with my manual none of the pages or items align with yours. See attached pic. I drew arrows pointing at 3 of the 6 bolts that needed to be removed from the inside of the steering housing and is the wishbone the item in the lower right of the image attached?
