The older tires did dry rott well before the tread had significant wear. Hopefully these last longer. I do like that they have a higher load rating. They are listed as 8 ply vs 6 ply for the older ones. For whatever that's worth.

I dont think you can even get the old style anymore. What ticks me off is there is no depiction of the new tire on the site. They still picture the old style! Not what you get.

Not crazy about my last carlisle purchase. They changed their tires but call them the same thing. And many sellers are using the old product image so you don't get what you see. Here are my old vs new tires. Both Carlisle farm specialist r1s. Both 8-16s. Both fully inflated. What gives?

Ok so maybe it is for pushing material backwards. It does not lock or pin in the down position so it seems like it might have something to do with this.

Hi, I bought this old box blade. It has two fixed blades but also a flap on the very back. Can anyone tell me what the flap is for? Seems different than most hinged blades iv seen. Plus it already has a rear fixed blade. Thanks
