I thought the Lt280D landTrac is the twin of the Montana 2740? I believe LS bought or owns these lines of tractors.

So does the transmission take a separate fluid? Where is the dipstick for the transmission? I have the ls280dt.

I have the equivalent to the 2740 Montana in the Long 280dt. I need to change out the rear end oil and front end oil. I cant find anything on what type to use. Also if anyone can tell me where they fill th UTF in their Montana would be super helpful.

I just found this. This is what I was talking about before. From the chart and my geographical location it appears SAE 30 is correct.

Hello I have a LT 280D that I need some information on. I have scoured the web but haven't come across any definitive information on this tractor. I would like to know 1. Where do I fill the Hyd fluid at. 2. What type of oil does this engine take. Mitsubishi SL4 diesel. I read somewhere...
