I have removed my oil pan and a crank cap , does anyone know the clearances for the main and rod bearing .if I get the plasti gauge which size should I get .

No rod knock , motor sounds good . Oil does come out of the oil sending unit , but you attach the manual line and it will barely fill the line , when I changed the pump , the old one I put in water and it would pump water out, I will drop the pan again I guess and make sure that pump is working...

Using 15/40 , gauge has been broke. I had changed the injection pump that had been broke for well over 2 years, got it running good and that is when I saw there was little to no oil pressure. Removed oil sensor and would come out the pipe slowly ,Attached manual gauge and oil would barely fill...

Yeah he said I didn’t need to put those 4 bolts back in and just to use rtv heavy there on reassembly . He said others have done this and it’s fine. It would be much easier if I didn’t have a loader attached . That has to be completely taken off .

Called 2 places and there are 4 bolts that go through the bell housing to the pan . Case needs to be split. Looks like quite of bit of work for me. Thanks for your all help

Sorry to post so much the picture of this oil pan looks somewhat like mine . Well the only thing would be the bolt hole locations . Mine does not have a removable bottom plate , wish it did , it would probably make changing the oil pump easier. If you look at the back of pan there are no bolt...
