Such a devistating story and all our worst nightmare!! I too have a 3200 sqft shop and it's filled with tools and equipment from my father's gas station and then the garage our family ran until I retired and reassembled everything into this building. I just feel your pain and while I didn't...
Amazing thread!! Beautiful install too. My 25hp tractor is almost out of warranty so I'm looking for improvements too. But thank you for such a well written article. Really enjoyed it and I hope you get many years of trouble free service from this tractor. Nice Job!!
Such a sad sad story!! I have a 3600 sqft shop behind my house and while the building is easy to insure in itself the contents are impossible as it's 98% tools and equip that have a $10K limit. I'm glad to hear that what ever insurance you have that you will be alright except for the "one of a...
It's done. Took me 90 minutes and $55 in parts as I opted to replace the two axle bearings while I was in there as they seemed a little rough. Parts were amazingly cheap and NH part numbers too. Happy New Year!!
You are absolutely 100% correct and you're not harsh at all!! The tractor has 11 months left of warranty and I'm not swetting it at all. The axle area was actually pretty dirty which leads me to believe it's been leaking a long time. The reason for a "warranty" in the first place is to stand...
Here's the deal on the tractor, where I live and my half acre, do I need a tractor the answer is absolutely not. But I've always wanted one and I've always wanted a backhoe. So I could easily afford this toy and I bought it. Around my place I use it to lift things, push snow and help my...
Well that's not exactly true. The dealer was an established place right here in town less then 3 miles from me. And yes indeed I'm pulling it apart today and fix it myself. I'll make the gasket and my local auto parts store had the seal.
Still a great tractor for it's size and has a higher...
Absolutely Agree!! Maybe LS is considering phasing out their own brand name and dealers and moving to the more popular dealer New Holland. It's a great machine so please don't get my comments wrong. But look for a well established dealer network whether it's LS or New Holland. LS was the...
Oh yes, I do agree with you totally. BUT, LS is paying New Holland dealers to do warranty work on their tractors, what's the difference with my LS MT125. Same tractor built off the same line! Yes I'm going to pay the bill and move on but the issue is LS is losing dealers on a fine product...
I absolutely love my LS MT125!! My friends with the orange and green machines will admire the differences in the LS line compared to theirs. My tractor is 5 years old now and I have had absolutely NO problems with this machine at all. But last week I had a front tire that was losing air so I...
Interesting side note. "New Holland" uses LS part numbers for this tractor too.
I haven't seen the new LS MT125 but does it have a SSQA? If not New Holland does.
Well I wanted to do it for a long time but it took a lot of research as there is a lot of conflicting information out there. But I learned a lot about the SSQL "quick attach" and shared it here. So now we can upgrade our LS MT125 and have a better tractor. Thank you guys for all your help...
Okay Gentlemen, Christmas came early for me today. I got a call from my New Holland dealer and they said my SSQA adapter and bucket were in. I drove my pickup down and they loaded the parts into my truck. I used my MT125 to unload everything as I put hooks on that bucket. Well I unpinned my...
