In places that routinely lose the pins, I use a bolt, a couple of washers, and two nuts (the second nut locks the first one in place).

Yes, it seems like tractor 3pt, FEL, and BH work will often open up my Lynch Pins and losig them can allow a shaft to slide out and bend...
