I don't have a pic but I also trimmed down the cable this weekend.
Took a oscilating multi tool with metal blade to it very carefully to cut sheeting down.
Shortened it and the used a metal hose clamp to clamp the sheeting to that black metal U (whatever that is)
Put 15 hours on it this...
So I googled a bit and it does appear to be between 1-5 volts for the signal on other DPF pressure sensors.
If anyone who has a DPF that is functioning normal can you pull the voltage on the signal for a normal functioning DPF?
In an ideal world I'd put in a resister on the signal and have use...
if you are correct and i actually knew what the correct signal was coming off the pressure differential sensor for clean DPF i wonder if you could 'spoof' that signal (is it 0-5 v dc?) and then get out of limp mode and still have use of the factory throttle.
problem is I still think i'd have...
Finally had a chance to run it this weekend and I didn't have this issue at all. No unexpected beeps, just lights on the dash I can ignore.
This saved me $5000 (and future headaches when it stopped working again). Thanks again my man.
Got it, I didn't want to proceed with the step of wiring the fuel solonoid if there was some other code I had to clear in the ECU first that was causing the 30 second shut off.
I'm assuming that the 30 second shutoff is what kills the fuel solenoid - which is the whole point of wiring the fuel...
I'm attempting to join the club here. I have removed the DPF honeycomp from the innards of the housing and reassemebled the exhaust. I still need to do the throttle and fuel solenoid mod.
When i start it up, it shuts down after 30 seconds. I originally attributed this to the pressure...
Final bump:
THe bendix was completely seized against the shaft due to mouse stuff. Disassembled the starter, took some brake cleaner to the shaft and other gunked up parts and cleaned it real well. Reapplied some Dry lube (ptfe) and the bendix was moving very smoothly on the shaft...
Thanks all, in attempting to remove the starter I can't get it out. I've gotten it about 1/4 inch out but it appears that the bendix may be engaged with the flywheel.
Does anyone know what the nut size is on the crankshaft that I could use to move the flywheel a bit to see if I can get it to...
2014 New Holland Boomer 33. Battery at 12.8 volts and not old and on charger. Got the tractor up on the trailer no issues. Brought it home 250 miles then started to tack apart the DEF system to clean it. Reconnected everything (except the hood). PTO is in off position.
Now this.
Starter...
New tractor owner and I'm not sure what I'm going but I'd like to get a grapple to help clear some wooded land. I know I need a third function in order to operate the grapple. Is there a recommended third function valve that works best with the Boomer 33? I've seen one from Summit Hydraulics...
