    Used John Deere mower values

Anyone know of a free site where you can plug in model/hours/ condition and get a “blue book” value? I have an excellent running [emoji638][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]][emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji639]] JD...

You are right. Those old 0XX series Stihls will still be rebuilt 100 years from now[emoji16] 38” bar! You must be related to Paul Bunyan!

Odd situation : only half of chain teeth beat up

I used to do the same thing until I read Stihl’s sharpening guide material. After reading the guide I went out and took 7 old chains and sharpened the chain including taking down the depth gauge accordingly. The difference between sharp and awesome came through loud and clear. If you want to see...

    Husqvarna 585

Best video of felling trees I have ever watched. I watched this one and literally took notes. Everything they teach works like a champ. Took a diseased oak down and had to make it fall between other younger trees. Followed their instructions to the letter and it falls exactly as advertised.

Stihl 038 Magnum II. Heavier than a new Stihl but if you can find one in good condition you’ll start smiling when you’re cutting a lot of wood. I’ve had 025s, 026s, 271s and a whole bunch of others but when I found this 038 Magnum II on eBay and talked to the owner I coughed it up. I thought I...

    Husqvarna 585

Tree demolition prices for taking down damaged or disease stricken trees in our part of Northern Illinois have skyrocketed after COVID. After I received three immense quotes for taking down a diseased old cherry I went online and discussed with friends the price of a large chainsaw that could...

    JD 4110

Hey Al3 I will definitely do that. Found a zirk that wouldn’t take grease and replaced it. I’ve also got a friend who owns two 4110s and a 1025R. He said the same thing. The mowing has definitely picked up speed with this little diesel. Thanks again Greg

    4100 No Crank

You’ve got fuel and ignition checked out so far. Question from JD mechanic. Have you circumvented the seat switch to see if it’s faulty? He thinks that is the most likely culprit as you checked the other switches.

    Setting Fence Posts Issue

I set a hollow steel rectangular tube with 1/4” thick steel into the earth and filled it in with concrete to support a 18’ gate on one side and a 10’ gate on the other 22 years ago. It hasn’t rotted. [emoji23]

    JD 4110 Fan Belt Frustration

Operating manual showed a different number than the internet. Called dealer and parts person said the manual part number was outdated. Replaced fan belt with #M800347 from the dealer which matched the internet information. Tried to install it and it was too wide and tight. Won’t tell you how...
