I added some ( thought it was)hydrolic fluid to my 2017 XR4150H. What I didn't realize is that the bucket had leaked rain water into it. The oil on top looked fine but I used a hand pump pushed to the bottom. Probably put about a gallon of water in. Noticed my brakes were groaning . I've changed...

Just to confirm what was already stated. I start my xr4150h most of the time when I'm standing on the ground before I get on it.

I'm betting on a faulty temp sensor.

I bought my tractor from John when he was in oak hill. I was not thrilled when he moved out to Spicewood but it wasn't the end of the world. I used to hate to use my brush hog, becsuse it vibrated too much. Come to find out my shaft was bent since the day I bought it.

About the only time I use the brakes on mine is to set the parking brake. I also never put it in neutral.

That $2.50 a day doesn't enclude the cost of another vehicle that you have to have when you need to go somewhere. My wife could easily drive an EV to work and back. But she drives to Nebraska to visit her aging father regularly and needs 4x4 when she gets there.

cool tractors, but without a FEL not really useful to me. I could have bought a skid steer, but a tractor with a FEL and backhoe made more sense to me. Technological advancement is all well and good, but if you don't need it, it's a waste of money.
