    MF 135 Dash wiring

Did they ever work? I ask as early 135s had dynamos and later ones had alternators (at least in the UK). Dynamos were generally positive earth, dynamos negative earth. Is it possible someone has done an upgrade on yours?

lowe's wrong chain saw in box

I had reverse - an Amazon Marketplace seller sold me a knock-off product that didn't work. I returned it only for them to claim it wasn't what they sold me. However, I noted that I wasn't the first to be sold fake items by this company and Amazon arranged the refund. Which reminds me, I need...

    MF285 manual.

Canola / Oil Seed Rape + Dogs

The fields around us are in full bloom, and the dogs love charginging around in it - and come back covered in the yellow pollen. A neighbour suggested it is dangerous for dogs, though others say it is an old wive's tale. Anyone got experiences one way or other? J

    30HP options

The buyers of our house want to include my B1750HST in the sale. It will be sad after 20 years, but then it gives me the opportunity to buy something a bit bigger - around the 30 to 35 HP mark - and also another hydro with a loader. Usage will remain as now, mostly mowing with cultivation...

Ideas for Forum & ANTI SPAM

No idea if this is correct place to post - however an idea I have seen on other fora would be useful here - namely a list of users currently online with moderators (or similar) highlighted - and maybe have mods outside US timezones (follow the sun)? This way, if events crop up when you guys in...

    Low Sulphur Diesel

Low Sulphur Diesel / Biodiesel issues I've just been talking to the local garage owner here in UK, and he advises that his supplier is reformulating their red / rebated / off-road diesel from 13th December to meet a new EU directive. After 1st January 2011 all such EU diesel must be of the...

    Chainsaw Post Pointer

I needed to repoint a few posts and found the chainsaw did a surprisingly good job, if slightly uneven. This set me thinking - has anyone made a framework / jig for this type of operation? J

    Sterilising Soil

Having tried to economise by filling planting troughs with soil instead of compost, and now having to pull a multitude of weed seedlings out every day, I am thinking how to prevent the same thing happening next year. One option is soil sterilisation - or I think pasteurisation is maybe the...

    Air Rifle Question

I know most guys (and gals) on this site are in US and have 'proper' guns - sadly here in the UK our gun control laws are somewhat stricter (and may tighten more after last week) - however I would welcome any thoughts or comments anyone has on air powered rifles (limited to 12lbft). The...

    ROPS Compatibility

Does anyone know whether a ROPS for a B1710/2110/2410 will fit a B1750? There is one on e-bay and I like the idea of being able to fold ROPS mid-way rather than having to lower it all the way onto bonnet. I know loaders, for example, fit multiple models as bolt holes and fixings were...

    Adding Spool Valves

I want to add a couple of rear double acting spool valves to my Kubota B1750 with KBF200 Loader. Currently, I have the detatchable loader plumbed into the hydraulics, so I will fit it in there in series. When loader is detatched, I there is a loop of pipe that connects hydraulic pipe output...

    My Pond Clearing

I thought I would share my current land cleaning with you guys. I am sure you all know how it is working on a building project to a budget - something "extra" is needed and there is no money to finish off. Well, the previous occupants of this house obviously had that problem - and their...
