580C blew a seal. What's the best place to get seals and hoses?

I apologize ahead of time for this...:ROFLMAO: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=chimp+jokes&&view=detail&mid=AA077E72F010659266C3AA077E72F010659266C3&&FORM=VRDGAR&ru=%2Fvideos%2Fsearch%3Fq%3Dchimp%2Bjokes%26FORM%3DHDRSC3

    Walk behind brush mowers

I have a BCS 2 wheel tractor. It's very useful. You can get a bunch of different attachments for it besides a mower. The cost for the these attachments are similar as what I pay for my regular tractor. That stings a bit.

    Bear Trouble

I can tell you that bear spray works. It also lingers. Spraying it around perimeter the property after lock up may help. With a 5' set back the neighbors may be a bit peeved though. However, if enough neighbors use the stuff the bears will avoid the place. I use electric fencing all the time...

    Electric vehicles during a disaster

Hydrogen is the obvious solution until you learn a bit more about hydrogen. From a safety standpoint hydrogen is horrible. Auto ignite temperature is around 900F. There are a things on ICE vehicles that run hotter than that. That means fire potential is huge. The real scary thing about a...

    Electric vehicles during a disaster

There was thread recently asking "Are you a prepper?". I'm more of a Just In Caser than a Prepper. Part of that is looking at the EVs. All of the vehicles manufacturers are working towards Bi-directional batteries now. The power company out here (PG&E) is also working on V2G/V2H charging...

    Wooden Fence Posts

Welcome to the neighborhood! I've gone to the Trail & Error School of Fencing. What I've learned is that as the soil/seasons/critters change so does everything else. An auger on a tractor, either PTO or hydraulic, can make a lot of holes fast. Once you get into a rhythm you'll be surprised how...

California Targets Private Property With Latest Water Well Fees, Charges: Report

I haven't read all of the posts here so if I'm repeating somebody else's posts, I apologize. I live in California and I have riparian rights and a well. In my situation the state is asking my neighbors and myself to cut back on our water usage. For the most part we all have. This is called...

California Targets Private Property With Latest Water Well Fees, Charges: Report

California and Arizona had a kerfuffle years ago. I recall seeing a documentary on it. It sounds like both states Nation Guardsmen were chirping away at each.

    Toro Outcross

I would have thought that about the 3 point hitch as well but the brochure has it rated as Cat 2.

    Toro Outcross

I was reading an earlier thread where someone was asking advice on buying a new mower. Curiosity got the better of me and I started looking online at some of the suggestions. I found this on the Toro website. Do any of you folks have any experience with these...

    New inexpensive trimode welder

In a prior life I used to stick weld a lot. A couple years back my girl friend asked me to patch a well expansion tank that had sprung a leak. She had one of the little 110v mig welders that you're looking at. I couldn't do it. It was embarrassing. I kept sticking wire and ended up with...

Rear PTO engages normally then disengages after less than a minute.

On my tractor if I go into reverse with the PTO engaged the engine shuts down. I don't know if that's for people safety or equipment safety. I'm guessing that you have a switch somewhere that isn't getting satisfied. Are your RPM's up when you engage the PTO?

Rear PTO engages normally then disengages after less than a minute.

If the PTO stays engaged unloaded, your tractor doesn't have the torque to do what you're asking it to. That brings the question if what you're asking is beyond the spec.s or your tractor/attachment is in need of repair or maintenance. If you're anything like I am you're probably due for a...
