Battery based vehicles of today and tomorrow pt 2

I used to haul about 35 square bales with mine when we had horses. My dad had a homemade stock rack on his 1/2 ton and hauled hogs to the sale barn with it.

I'll admit it's not made for comfort.

Test drove a Fusion and hated it. I bought a Mazda 3 instead. I can get well over 40mpg summer driving. I've averaged 37.5 mpg over the 1 1/2 years I've owned it. It's a manual transmission that is very hard to find.

    how many GPM is needed

When I was shopping for a post hole digger years ago I checked out hydraulic diggers. My 37 hp Kubota is rated at 7.8 gpm. Diggers I looked at required 12 to 20. Hydraulic snow blowers seem to have similar requirements.

Something I don't understand about applications of below 40hp tractors

An ex in-law had a 47 Farmall Cub rated at about 11 hp. I used it to cut heavy pasture with a belly mounted 4' Mott hammer knife. It also had a 4' belly mounted blade I used for snow, frame mounted cultivator, sickle bar mower, and a 12" plow.

He is pretty complimentary of Farley and says Ford is the least likely to go bust from the EV changeover. He really doesn't like GM's Barra and I agree %100 on both counts. That's why I'm betting on Ford. IMO they are way undervalued.

We've owned and checked mileage on our Honda, Mazda, and Ford. All have been very accurate within 1 or 2% plus or minus. This is assuming the odometer is correct.

Cyber Truck? LOL, Anybody that didn't realize towing a trailer would cut range in 1/2 or more isn't paying attention. Towing a trailer with an ICE truck can cut mileage in 1/2 also. They just start out with a bigger range. Side Note: I got 57 mpg on a 38 mile trip home from work last night with...

My money is literally on Ford. They just raised their dividend to .15 or about 4% annual and the stock price is rising. Their sales crushed GM last quarter.

    Best truck under $10k?

I'm doing the math, my math isn't very good but did you start this website when you were 15? You're 39 now, you "joined" in 1998, 24 years ago. I assume you started it, maybe you purchased it. I don't really know the history before about 2002. Sorry for off topic post.

    Oil Back Ordered

I just tried to place an order with MSC Industrial supply for Vactra #2 way lube that I've been using for over 40 years. For the first time in those 40 years it's on backorder. They say they have outstanding orders for over 2000 individual gallons. It's available elsewhere but for a premium...
