    Camp property search

Every listing over a few weeks old, were just crappy land when we were looking. Good land is bought pretty quick. We had a friend that's always looking at land to buy - he called us up and said, we needed to see this land that just went on the market, if we didn't buy it, he was going to...

Wood chip ground cover and trail building

Put it on thick enough, it cokes out just about everything. English ivy can still work its way under it. RoundUp, even at a low dose, does wonders to stilt grass. No need to soak it, a light dusting over the area works great for me.

Wood chip ground cover and trail building

I've been spreading wood chips on my trails for 20 years... it gets old doing it but it looks great afterwards and last for 4 or 5 (???) years. By the end, we are down to dirt usually. I've spread them pretty thick (4-6") if we get a large pile of them. If it's a smaller load, 2 to 3" thick...

    Auger Stand

I disassembled mine for indoor storage... actually, deep six, long term storage! I found that with less than a dozen holes, I can hand dig them faster than re-assembling and putting it back together. Also, when someone borrows it. It fits easier in the back of a car or truck when it's in pieces!

    PTP Pump for 2520

"Attention: Suction lift not to exceed 3 feet." You can look for "lift pump" or "sump pump" to fill other containers to supply this pump to pressurize it to get it to the garden.... How deep is the well, how far is the garden from the well...

Am I crazy to trade in?

Actually, I'm surprised that within those 5 hours, no body tested out the 3 point hitch! I was lucky as my tractor had 0.1 hours (and I thought that was too low!) Side note: bought a "new" Nissan Versa in 2009, looked at the OD, 65 miles... I asked when does it becomes a "used" car??

    Cleaning driveway ditches

I use a blower that clears out my ditches. When I rotate the drum to the other side (as shown in the photos), the opening points straight down into the ditch. In that position it blows gravel away. The position it's in the photos are set to blows leaves and sticks nicely.

Am I crazy to trade in?

So talk to the dealer and ask EXACTLY what was the problem, will it ever happen again? and see what his reply is. If he explains exactly what the problem was, seems honest about it so that you can trust him... I would not trade the green tractor for orange. If he gives you the run around or...

Help me spend money, again! Upgrading

Don't try and negotiate on a good price, someone else will end up buying it. I thought it was a very good price compared to new price... It's like seeing a good price on Crais's list and coming to TBN to ask if it's a good deal... too late, just sold!!! Got to know prices before shopping!

Am I crazy to trade in?

Get rid of a problem tractor and get a new one... seems like an easy choice! Edit: Old tractor getting fixed... changed my mind below... Does the Kubota dealer know there is a problem with the 2032R?
