I've been reading some of the threads on building a landscape rake.
I've decided to tackle it on a smaller scale for a category 0 tractor I have.
My rear blade bolts on to the 3 point mount with four bolts. I am going to remove the blade and attach the rake I build via the bolt holes.

There is a John Deere D500 listed in the paper but I can find no info on it.
I called and the woman that answered knew nothing about it. It was her husbands and he passed away last month.
She said it's older but in great condition.
Anyone have a link to a pic or specs?

Anyone heard of this? They do it for airplanes. While a tractor doesn't cost as much as a plane it's still an expensive "investment". Renting one at $250 a day adds up but if I bought one it would sit 28 days a month.
You'd have to have a contract spelling out maintenance and user damage...
