Iseki 17hp 1987 John Deere 510C Backhoe

I bought a electric chainsaw a few years ago. I have a back injury and thought the electric would be better. I used the thing twice and went back to a small gas chainsaw. I offered the electric to my son who lives in a town. He tired it and decided he didn't want it either.

I never could find a replacement for the axle on my Iseki TU1700F. Ended up buying a cheap wire feed welder and welding it back together. Turned it on my lathe after welding. It works just fine. If you do this search Youtube on how to repair a broken axle. Several good video's out of India.

Rather it's my dozer, grader or tractor I just drop the blade or bucket to the ground. That works for me and they didn't have parking brakes on machines back when I learned to drive tractors in 56. AT least I don't remember them having parking brakes.

I also use an air compressor and blow the junk off the chainsaw when done using it. I always use a stabilizer in the fuel for my chainsaw's and generators, garden tillers and wood splitter. So I don't drain the fuel from anything when putting it away for the winter. Things like the generator...
