I ran an 80 JD diesel as a teenager and if you lugged it down to the very last pop and pulled the clutch it would start backwards. At that time I thought it was kinda cute. Never seemed to harm the engine.

Thanks plumbstraight! It is very nice to have tools. It hasn't always been that way. I started out with an old Hobart stick welder and a cutting torch 50 or more years ago and that worked too. I like your idea of using a tractor the way you mention. You are thinking outside the box. I love that.

Not really good for steady rotation except very low rpm. My application is where the dozer frame mounts and won't even turn a quarter turn from on ground to full lift.

Sorry I think I misunderstood your question. I thought you were quick attaching your loader to the tractor itself

Google Ezzee on loaders they have quite a simple setup which I have copied many times. Might give you a start. A side picture of your tractor would help to.
