Does sound like your neutral safety switch is not working every time it is at rest. You need to test the switch
As for it shutting off while it is running. Do not shut it off while plowing. It will keep running unless you run out of fuel.
If you cannot test the circuit them you really need a...
I have been called out for this before. Ended up the receptacle was controlled by a light switch . You really need to call someone who can do the required testing. Wires do not open circuit for no reason. receptacles will be wired with more than one in the circuit. The one before it could be the...
That is a unsafe condition. You need to get that repaired ASAP. Your power is returning on the ground. That makes it lucky for you. If not when the neutral is open your place will be at 240 volts. All your 120 circuits will burn up and catch on fire. The chief should have not told you waht he...
I have one that I made on a I beam. K car axle. It has a 13HP engine and a 2 stage pump. Cycle time is 4 seconds
It is 2 slow with the tractor hydraulics. You want your splitter to be a stand alone unit. It will use less gas and the tractor can be used for other operations while you are splitting
Be careful there is O rings that are rated for hot fluids. I kept using a normal one and it keep going through the system when it got hot. Once I found out there is different o rings I was good. I changed my control valves over. What a mess the original fittings are a special metric type . I...
It now sounds like the starter bendix is not kicking in to turn your engine over. My first though was the battery. Now you say that is good. I had problems with my starter also. I took it out of the tractor and put it in the vice. I then powered it up with the battery in the vice. That will...
if it just goes click the voltage and current is not getting into the starter. I had my 284 for 16 years. You need someone that understands the circuit to the starter and can read and understand using a VOM. I would be able to figure it out in 5 minutes. The rest of the recommendations do not...
When I had that backhoe I had the same issue. Nothing worked. What the issue was a O ring had sucked through the line. It stuck in the pressure release value. So it was bypassing and it would not allow flow to any cylinders. That would be my first thing to check.
I have converted my narrow frame to a wider front axle off a wide frame. I have changed the rear tires to the wider tire.
I have also reversed the front rims to make a wider wheel stance.
