I've heard people say to stay away from auction stuff and I've been sort of ignoring auctions. However, aren't there some cases where that might me ok? Like some meticulous old retired guy that died and they're selling all his stuff off - as opposed to a giant auction where they're just...
I've been learning about that. The Kiotis I listed do not have the emissions stuff. They're only 26hp. Interestingly, it's the same engine as the 35hp model and can be tuned up to almost match that - but with no emissions controls. Best of both worlds.
Yes. My Ferguson has about 30 at the PTO. If I got a CUT I'd have to get something in the upper 30HP or 40HP (like the 3720 I listed) to run that baler.

That's awesome. I haven't heard of many Kiotis with that many hours.
I wouldn't mind getting a bigger tractor, but the bigger you go, the more money. I could theoretically get a bigger one that's really old and has lots of hours.
I keep reading about matching the size of a new tractor to your...
That's what I keep thinking too. It's not that I don't think the Yanmar engine can't handle that many hours, it's that the rest of the machine is probably going to require frequent small repairs.
Regarding the loader: I don't know what makes the loaders so capable - bigger rams? I do know that...
I would be baling. Hesston makes a 4x4 baler and it can be ued with a 30hp machine. People do it too. I only have 10 acres of hay and I don't really mind spending time on the machine. Like I said, I think I could bale it with the Ferguson if whatever I end up buying doesn't work out.
He said nearly all of their warranty work has been on that line. I honestly can't remember what he said specifically.
I probably won't put anything but a bucket on anyway, but couldn't a person just put an QASS on the front of a Deere?
I have pretty much settled on Deere or Kioti. Deere for obvious reasons and Kioti because they make their own machines and I believe will be up there with Deere and Kubota before long. Also, I'm getting a little research-fatigued. The closest dealer to me is actually a TYM dealer though. Maybe...
Hi everyone. I currently own a 1957 Ferguson F40 and it's an awesome machine. It's all I have for moving snow and of course it's limited in that it doesn't have 4 wheel drive or a loader. I'm looking for a compact tractor with 4x4, HST, and a loader. It will be used for the typical hobby farm...
