I'm looking for the particulars on a Caterpillar dozer model 14a, Does anyone know the hp and size of this dozer? I'm wanting to clear some thorn trees and maybe **** up a raven for a pond, but not sure if this dozer is too big.

I have a jd 1010 with fel all though has been pretty useful but want to upgrade to something newer looking at a jd 870 and just found a Ford 1925 4x4 with fel, both priced about the same. both have fel and both have 1000hrs. does any one have a Ford 1925 is it a good tractor? thanks Pharmer

I guess i posted in the wrong forum first time. anyway I looking at upgrading from a jd1010 to an 870 or a 4400. the 4400 is newer and has twice the hours. will these machines run my 503 mower or should trade it too and look for a newer mower too?
