    What is this bearing?

WOW! Totally not what I expected to see after looking at the remains of that bearing! I can't see how even a dropped bearing from the factory could be that damaged and not have something else destroyed in the process. At this point one would have to wonder if it wasn't done on purpose just to...

Jinma 284, bent left side lifting cylinder.

This is strictly a guess on my part, and in no way is meant as a criticism, but I think I see your problem. Part of it at least. The quick attach setup has moved the bucket quite a ways forward of the cylinder connect points. This adds a lot of extra stress. That combined with the additional...

Jinma 284, bent left side lifting cylinder.

Please post a photo of the bucket and curl cylinders. Chineesium steel is always suspect. However, I have done some really sketchy things with my OEM loader and never had a problem. I even put enough twist on it to twist a 1-1/4" heavy wall square tube that I put between the two sides. One of...

    What is this bearing?

Inspection and flush at a bare minimum. Something moved or broke to release the inner race. Something has been ground up to make all the "fuzzies". Where did the missing balls go? What is loose and flopping around that can get into something it shouldn't? With all that debris in the oil, what...

    What is this bearing?

Not sure what that is from, but in my book it would warrant an immediate tear down. That is a lot of debris to have any any gearbox and open bearing system. Probably lots more damage elsewhere. YMMV

PS. Please post info on the after market cylinders you are using.

Jinma 284, bent left side lifting cylinder.

Do you still have the original bolt on bucket? I replaced mine with a quick attach setup, but I didn't install a torsion bar between the two sides. When I would change attachments, I noticed that the left side moved slower than the right side. This was a pain when hooking up as the two sides...

    Farm pro 2425 levers

Go to my web site here: Harnerfarm Jinma 284 The first document has a pretty good drawing of the clutch mechanism on page 29. It also walks you through the adjustment procedure. Feel free to download and keep any of the documents from my site, they are not mine, I'm just sharing them freely...

    Jinma 354 alternator charging output?

Is your battery loosing charge while it sits? Have you done a load test on the battery? I know you said it was new, but it just might be a defective one. Here is what I would do if it were sitting in my yard, keep in mind I have an el-cheapo HF load tester. It only puts a 100 amp load on the...

    Farm pro 2425 levers

The 4th lever is to engage the lock on the rear axle. To be used when one wheel is spinning and the other it not. Should be disengaged when turning. Your clutch needs adjustment. if the PTO won't engage or grinds when trying to engage.

    Jinma 354 alternator charging output?

Good, you have done all the basic stuff. Now to find the real problem. The warm wire may be a good starting point. Over-all the size and quality of the wiring on these tractors is less than ideal. Most all of the wires are too small and the crimped on terminals, especially the flat female ends...

    Jinma 354 alternator charging output?

Sounds like you might have two problems, maybe three. The "ticking" ampmeter indicates the regulator or alternator are doing something. The 13.8 volts indicates that the alternator is putting out sufficient voltage. A low or bad battery could be what is keeping it from going any higher, but it...

    Erratic and jerky hydraulics

Most likely on the 254 (same as my 284) the tank screen comes out of the top of the tank. It will be held in with 3 bolts and located under the front left corner of the seat. Remove the suction line that leads to the pump and unbolt the cover. The screen is at the end of a pickup tube that is...

    Jinma 254 Rear Creaking Noises

If you think the loose nuts were the source of the squeak there are a couple more things you can do to make sure. First take the entire wheel off of the axle. A little bit of work but not too bad if you have a good floor jack. On the back side of the wheel where it touches the axle hub, look...

Farm Pro 2425 Front End Loader Removal

That is one solution. However, there is usually a short hose connected to the priority valve instead of a hard 90 degree elbow. I would consider getting a hose that will replace that elbow and be long enough to re-use the quick connect you have. Thus saving the price of a pair of quick connects...
