What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

One of the biggest things I hate about my 2024. So far so good at 13.5 hours.

Hauled a trailer load of steel and implements Friday, all loaded with the GC and performed great. First time using my bucket hooks all welded on the back and also did great. Not many glamour shots but here's one...

Could a mouse figure out how to...

At work, two different buildings and both on the 2nd floor, one would always find my desk! Them f'ers are smart. Peanut butter and a a few of the wooden traps would usually find the one ambitious culprit. I moved to another building 2 years ago, another one found me on the 2nd floor and...

Could a mouse figure out how to...

Just set 4 small wooden traps under wife's car in garage. They have been eating the green poison blocks like candy and leaving a hundred turds as prizes. I baited with peanut butter AND cheese cracker crumbs, have caught one so far. Bastards.

He'll I like it. Easy to find the hook. I paint stuff safety yellow all the time for this reason. Meanwhile, had to talk myself into using my 2 month old GC for this purpose. Then I thought, why TF wouldn't I? 🤪 Saved my back!

Thanks for this tip. I haven't removed my FEL yet but did disconnect one of the fittings. I find the springs on these fittings are really strong and not that easy to remove.

Anyone have a MechMaxx 3-pt stump grinder?

Looks like the price has eased up to $1599. You guys with recent orders, how are your delivery dates coming along?

    Pimp my Massey: New GC1723EB

Thanks! The emblem is cut from some extra reflective tape I had, and mimics the Massey. Needs a backing plate, maybe later. Brush guard battle tested in the woods and worked great.

    Pimp my Massey: New GC1723EB

Day 31 Got my notebooks made for my manuals, saved $100. Piranha tooth bar came it, this thing is a beast in the woods! It's heavy! Brush guard complete, a few R&D items remain. Here the sequence of it being born:

How Massey Ferguson GC 1723 & 1725 hydraulics are plumbed

My apologies, I have to access my old .dwg files at work, but I will get you some samples of what I was referring to. Here is something atypical from a 3rd function kit, would need to know what all the GC valves look like if available.

Here's my 1723 for comparison. Mine looks much cheaper made than what you have. Does yours have grease fittings?

Thanks. I have the big welder, just need to know what works best. Has the be the cheapest OR pad out there, hence the price point. I'm thinking a little bigger and the flip over kind like you mention.

How Massey Ferguson GC 1723 & 1725 hydraulics are plumbed

Nice work. I used to draw one-line hydraulic diagrams for work that were more pictorial with valve layouts, labeled ports, hose sizes, etc., used in a production environment where JIC schematics were not necessary but helped speed of assembly. I will find one somewhere and post back. Any chance...
