Guys, Thanks for all the nice comments. The old cabin was in rough shape, the roof had been leaking for years and alot of the logs (white pine) on the sides had rotted away. The wood we put on the outside on the new cabin is hemlock taken from my grandfarthers old farm buildings, a bit over...

Just wanted to add a thread of a small cabin construction. The original Cabin was build in 1904 with whitepine logs and stone. We worked slowly over the last year or so to turn it into a useable cabin that enjoy when at the farm. A few pictures of the construction progress.
