I had a backhoe on a smaller Deere and didn't find it very useful. Hard to put on. Then, every time you move you have to get back on the seat. And you move often because the stick range isn't very far. This makes it difficult to move the dirt far enough from the hole/ditch you are making...

My WM75 would be a lot nicer to use if it didn't have a hair-trigger clutch. Makes close-order work hard so I use an HST tractor for most everything. Otherwise it's a dandy tractor.

I have an 8' dual spindle that I run with my Kubota L6060. I wouldn't want to use it with a tractor much smaller or less powerful than this. My Deere 4720 has a hard time running it in thick grass, I need to go slow so the tractor has enough power, and it's not getting too hot.
