Funnily enough one came up on ebay(been waiting ages for one to appear)....just 1/2hr after I'd found this site that has an online one in flash form..

we have just aquired some shiny new Jacobsen mowers that use biodegradeable Hydraulic oil and are thinking of reverting back to dino oil.
cons.........
The cost of this oil is significantly (x3) higher than our usual 10w30 multiservice hydro/engine oil.........
And needs replacing more...

Turf Damage - Rubber or metal tracks
I know that rubber tracks on mini (2.5t) excavators do less damage to concrete/tarmac than metal,but which do less damage on closely mown turf?.
Are rubber tracks also kinder to turf , and how kind are metal tracks with rubber blocks?...

I am in the process of searching out a 3 ton mini digger and have come across a GEHL 3 tonner from approx 1997-1999.
It has 3000 hrs but looks to be well cared for (from the photos) although the rubber tracks are quite worn. Are these IHI made smaller GEHL machines worth looking at ,or...
