I can report that I have successfully accomplished this task. The part I found was a Moog 385; it also has GMB stamped on the bearing caps. Exact fit, with the only difference being the location of the zerk fitting. I've already put it back in service, and nothing came apart, so now I can start...

Thanks for the replies. At this point I'm still trying to remove the inside clips on the bearing caps (with no success) so it might be a while before I can pursue a replacement.😠

Hi, folks, A question about the above. There is a stray wire with no connector near the starter solenoid. Black, frayed, and possibly the reason for my no start issue. Can anyone provide a visual for where this wire should go? Schematics are vague. Thanks!
