hey guys, i was splitting wood today when all the sudden i couldnt generate more that 300 psi on my gauge, log lift is working fine,it seems as if the relief is bypassing, could it have blown a cylinder seal ? and is there a way to check /test? thanks

Lovejoy knock off coupler on log splitter between pump and engine ater 2 hours of run time half the coupler was gone its the L-100 3 jaw halfs with the rubber insert any ideas on what might cause this alignment seems fine

i have a prince rd 5000 series control valve with a barnes 2 stage 22gpm pump when i hit 2000 psi it seems to bypass.the splitter cylinder stops and the engine is not bogging even at idle . Im guessing its the relief setting? instruction that came with valve says nothing about where/how to adjust

what are the options to slow down a log lift? its a seperate control valve i know you can get a flow control valve for about a $100 is there other ways? ive read somewhere about putting a washer with small diameter hole between hose and fitting is this ok? do you put 1 washer on the inlet...
