I figured that'd be the case, much like any other vehicle. If it ain't broke, don't go messing with it. Odd how the manual says replace it every two years, that's a bit much I think.

I have a 2019 CK3510 about to hit 200 hours. According to the owner's manual it states radiator hoses, fuel lines, and power steering lines should be replaced every 200 hours. I've checked each rubber line/hose (whichever your preferred nomenclature) every 50 hours and do not see any cracking...

Use some of that fuel treatment that kills the bacteria that form algae. Could have been some of that growing in the bottom of your tank. Always top it off after use too keeps condensation from getting in.

Get yourself the set of grease adapters to go with the Lock N Lube fitting, the 90 degree one works wonders for me on some of the front loader points. As far as an easier way to get the 3 point pivot control fitting, I don't think there is a substitute for getting under the tractor with a head...

You're right it does not specify fully tightened or just dip it in once you remove it. I've always screwed it back in just as it sits when operating to check the level, once I remove it, wipe it clean that is. On my CK3510

I have the same concern about my CK3510 shuttle shift, I've always come to a full stop, often throttled down (but not always), fully depressed the clutch to put into 4x4. The little area on the dash is clearly there, but no light comes on. 4x4 works just fine which I suppose is all that...

2002 TC18 18hp tractor 3cy diesel 4x4 - $10,000 for sale in Pulaski County, VA. 780 hours, I may put about 5 a week on it mowing or moving things with the loader. Tractor is in great shape, hydraulics all work very well, no leaks or issues. Very strong little work horse for it's HP rating...

Follow your operator manual change intervals, in lieu of that, I agree with RickB, regardless of use, change it annually. Cheap insurance.

Thanks AWSubie. I got a reply from Shell today stating that Donax TD is obselete, replaced by Rotella HD Tractor fluid which is the exact same as Spirax S4 TXM. Not sure the difference or reason between Spirax S4 TXM and Rotella HD, internet searched show little availability in the US market...

Does Shell Rotella HD Tractor fluid meet Kioti specs? I'm trying to figure out (outside of personal opinion) aka legit hard facts if it does? The older manual says Shell Donax TD which isn't made any more apparently, then I see online in various forums something called Shell Spirax S4 TXM...
